How the U.S. government uses its media servants to attack real journalism

  1. Hey Kiely,

I've been banished fro Firedoglake, Truthdig, Truthout, Digby's Hullabaloo and now, following this comment, fro Common Dreams:

At this point the only thing that will arrest the decline and in fact kick the teeth out from the neoliberal/neoconservative criminal gangs on the Hill, is a public united behind a ticket which 1.) challenges the statust quo head on, and 2.) represents, on the most existentially crucial issues of the day, both the left and the right.

Only a united public can hope to come out victorious against a government which stands united against them.

Matthew Gonzales, Nader, Sanders and Kucinich need to run with Ron Paul on an anti Empire, anti greed and graft, and anti NAFTA platform. We can get back to harking to parochial left right ideologies after this neoliberal/neoconservative government has been swept from office; our defense budget has been cut to defensive posture size, banksters have been prosecuted and their personal fiefdoms nationalized, and our trade regime has been readjusted to reflect the interests of workers instead of the profit margins of corporate transnational monopolies.

The present, in the face of an assault by a rentier class, calls for populist unity. We can always part ways after the decks have been cleared and the ship righted.

    ------

unless we, in the contrarian community, begin to support and promote one another's sites, the establishment's fluffers will lock us out from access to the wider public, at which point we'll just be howling in the wilderness...
